Miss Dior: where does the name come from?
Dior says Catherine Dior, Christian Dior’s younger sister, is the inspiration behind Miss Dior.

Miss Dior Essence
Created by Francis Kurkdjian, Dior Perfume Creative Director, as an Essence de Parfum. The house calls it a chypre and names blackberry jam, elderflower and a jasmine sambac heart over dense oak accords, saying it expresses its intensity in a high concentration. In our store: Miss Dior Essence.
Miss Dior Parfum
Also by Francis Kurkdjian. Dior describes intense floral, fruity and woody notes: mandarin, then starry jasmine with wild strawberries, peaches and apricots, then ambery woods of patchouli and Alaskan cedar with a forest-floor, mossy effect. Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet
An Eau de Toilette that Dior calls a fresh, delicate chypre, naming sweet pea, bergamot, Damascus rose and peony over white musks and white cedarwood. In our store: MISS DIOR BLOOMING BOUQUET.
Miss Dior Rose N’Roses
An Eau de Toilette that Dior describes with floral, sparkling notes: absolute and essence of Grasse and Damascus roses, with Italian mandarin, bergamot and lemony geranium essence, over white musks and patchouli, linked by the house to the rose fields of Grasse.
