Which The House of Oud perfumes contain oud? The Klem Garden and Desert Day collections
Despite the house’s name, it lists oud in only six of the 21 perfumes in our store, all from two collections: Klem Garden, inspired by hospitality and by slowing down, and Desert Day, inspired by moments of the day: a desert sunset, the calm of night and early-morning light. The oud comes in different origins as the house names them: Kalimantan, Burma, Indian and Irian oud. All six are signed by Andrea Casotti, alone or with Cristian Calabrò.
- Dates Delight: inspired by Middle Eastern hospitality, where dates symbolise welcome: an infusion of Riyadh dates, caramel, cinnamon and honey over Kalimantan oud (KWD 91.400)
- Grape Pearls: inspired by the custom of offering coffee and grapes to guests, in a modern style: rose, grapes and coffee bean over vanilla, white musk and Kalimantan oud (KWD 91.400)

Royal Stones: five perfumes named after gems
The perfumes in this collection are named after gems, and three of them draw on specific royal jewels. They are the highest-priced of the house’s perfumes in our store: KWD 103.200 each.
- Ruby Red: a tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, inspired by the ruby and gold jewel the Duke of Edinburgh gave her in 1966: ginger, tuberose and vanilla (KWD 103.200)

Who is behind The House of Oud?
The house presents its founder Andrea Casotti as a nuclear engineer, street artist and perfumer who created The House of Oud to tell new stories. The 21 perfumes in our store are signed by four perfumers, as the house states: Cristian Calabrò (nine, including four Royal Stones), Andrea Casotti (five), Maurizio Cerizza (three), Douglas Morel (two), and two signed by Casotti and Calabrò together.
