The three versions of Yves Saint Laurent’s men’s Y share herbs and woods, and differ in what comes forward in each: lavender and incense in the Eau de Toilette, sage and geranium in the Eau de Parfum, and blue juniper berries with patchouli in the Intense. Behind the table
The geranium in the first two versions is a leaf whose scent sits between rose and mint. The juniper in the Intense is the small fruit of a coniferous shrub with a sharp scent like pine needles, and patchouli has an earthy scent. The house describes the Intense as woody spicy, and the other two as fresh woody.
The price difference between the Eau de Parfum and the Intense at 100 ml is under one dinar: KWD 54.800 against KWD 55.750. The house says Y Eau de Parfum is inspired by Yves Saint Laurent’s well-known look: the white shirt and the black jacket.

Yves Saint Laurent Y L’Elixir for Men: presented by the house as the highest concentration in the men’s Y line, a spicy woody fougère with Provence lavender and a geranium accord, incense and oud of natural origin with a leathery touch. Available in 60 ml (KWD 64.200).
